We strive to see people's lives transformed by God.

In 2022 we launched an Adult Celebration at the ICF Wake Park. This NEW morning celebration is only in Khmer and we provide a free pick-up service. The guests are adults from the villages surrounding our ICF Community Campus. The messages preached at this celebration are tailored more towards the elderly Khmer people. We take time for them individually as we break into small groups to talk more deeply. There, we can share personal stories from our lives and encourage them more effectively.

“First, when I visited the villages, I saw a lot of violence and alcohol consumption. They had no regard for one another. When they began to attend our Sunday morning celebration, the entire family dynamic began to shift. I noticed they began to talk more nicely and took better care of each other. They have even begun to care for their neighbors and pray for one another.”

NEW MORNING CELEBRATION

chanthy’s story

Chanthy was so sick that he almost died. At the hospital the doctor said he was going to die within two hours of bringing him home and advised his wife to prepare for the funeral. His wife, sister-in-law, and his daughter, who is one of our ICF youth volunteers, started crying out to Jesus and pleading with Him to spare his life. They decided to take him to Phnom Penh where there might be other treatment options, but the doctor said that they shouldn't waste the money; the man would die before they got there. The family started to believe that Jesus has power over everything and they refused to believe what the Doctor said. God took care of his life on the 6 hour journey to Phnom Penh and through his surgery, which was a success. The Doctor in Phnom Penh was surprised that the man had survived from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh because he also thought the man might die before he got there.  Chanthy heard the Doctor talk about his sickness and he heard his family praying. Now that he is recovered he attends church and has decided to believe in Jesus. He also removed all his spirit shrines in his house and threw them down into the water. Through this miracle Chanthy's now wants to know more about Christ and his wife decided to get baptized in August 2022.

BAPTISMS

OUR MOST EVER IN 1 YEAR

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity”.

As part of our church, we have the Next Generation Internship - a free 10 months course that focuses on teaching Biblical principles to the youth in our community. This program is open to all scholarship students and youth from the villages around our campus. Our goal is to invest in their daily life, reminding them of their identity and watching them grow as they serve others. We focus on faith and leadership and help the youth apply what they learn in class to different areas of our church, especially the weekend celebrations.

Our main bible verse is 1 Timothy 4:12

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity”.

“I didn’t know how to express my faith through worship. I was not brave enough to sing or to raise my hands, but now I love to worship and I have the opportunity to lead the children in worship on Sunday mornings. Whenever I start to feel shy, I pray to God to give me courage.”

-Yun, NGI Student

“I was not brave enough to pray loudly of out my mind and to pray for other people but through NGI, I’m now hunger for praying for others and praying loudly”

- Satcha

“I was a leader in my sports team but I’m not sure how to lead others, especially when I think I’m young but Our NGI main Bible verse in 1 Timothy 4:12 had motivated me, God told me even I’m young but I can lead and I’m now a new generation leader”

- Sreyreach

“Before I was shy to speak and was quiet around people, now I’m brave to talk to others and enjoy with them, to speak out, especially with the teachers and public speaking”

- Sreymao

800 KIDS

A RECORD SETTING

kids church

In 2022 we opened kids church and although we sent fewer trucks to the villages than before Covid-19 we saw a significant increase in kids joining our Kids Church. Around 300 kids from a village nearby can walk or ride their bicycles to the Church and now we have a weekly attendance of around 600 Kids, the peak in August was a record setting 800 kids.

Sins and Forgiveness (statement from a Kid)

The parents shared with us that after a message at kids church about sin their kids came home and said to the mom that they forgive her even though she can’t take care of them very well. The mom was so touched she cried and soon after she started to join church as well.

Let The Prayer Rise was the first song that the ICF Cambodia Worship Team wrote back in 2020. In 2022 the song became the background of our first ever dance music video.

We believe this song will be a declaration and prayer over Cambodia that brings hope to the common difficult situations depicted in the video. We believe that those who encounter this video would know there is a real God who hears their prayers!

LET’S GO ON A MISSION!

ICF Cambodia is a perfect place for your next church mission trip! Experience strong team-building while serving the people of Cambodia.
Each year thousands of people go on short-term mission trips. Some feel a nudge to be a part of something that benefits someone else. Others seek out a mission trip for the adventure of new things and the hope of personal growth. They have a desire to see, experience and discover their faith in new and meaningful ways. We believe that Christian mission trips are about both of these ideas.
